This may be the 18th book in the series but it hasn't lost any momentum yet。 I enjoy spending time with all of the characters and the description of Holiday Bay makes me want to visit - in the spring, summer or fall only。 I don't watch "reality" shows because I know that most of them are scripted and far from "real" so I wasn't surprised by the antics that ensued with this cast of visitors staying at the inn。 A well paced mystery with plenty of twists and a surprising reveal kept me reading all This may be the 18th book in the series but it hasn't lost any momentum yet。 I enjoy spending time with all of the characters and the description of Holiday Bay makes me want to visit - in the spring, summer or fall only。 I don't watch "reality" shows because I know that most of them are scripted and far from "real" so I wasn't surprised by the antics that ensued with this cast of visitors staying at the inn。 A well paced mystery with plenty of twists and a surprising reveal kept me reading all afternoon。 。。。more

Laura,
This is one of my favorite cozy mystery series。 I can't wait to return and meet new characters and situations in each book。 I also enjoy watching the relationships between characters grow and friendships develop。The Inn is booked with the cast of a Reality Detective show。 Could it also be housing a murderer?Suspicious lights in a long closed lighthouse create curiosity and break into Abby's romantic time with Colt。 Georgia and Abby and friends spend time waiting for spring designing the new rent This is one of my favorite cozy mystery series。 I can't wait to return and meet new characters and situations in each book。 I also enjoy watching the relationships between characters grow and friendships develop。The Inn is booked with the cast of a Reality Detective show。 Could it also be housing a murderer?Suspicious lights in a long closed lighthouse create curiosity and break into Abby's romantic time with Colt。 Georgia and Abby and friends spend time waiting for spring designing the new rental cottages for the property。Good mystery, interesting activities around town, plenty of motives 。。。more
RO G'ma,
Lantern in the Lighthouse is the eighteenth book in Kathi Daley’s heartwarming Inn at Holiday Bay series。 The well-plotted storyline flows smoothly, and multiple twists and red herrings in the complex mystery keep the reader engaged。 The setting is charming, and the well-developed characters are three-dimensional, compassionate, and caring。 Every time I pick up one of Ms。 Daley’s books, I know I’m in for a treat, and I’ve never been disappointed。 I highly recommend this series to readers who enj Lantern in the Lighthouse is the eighteenth book in Kathi Daley’s heartwarming Inn at Holiday Bay series。 The well-plotted storyline flows smoothly, and multiple twists and red herrings in the complex mystery keep the reader engaged。 The setting is charming, and the well-developed characters are three-dimensional, compassionate, and caring。 Every time I pick up one of Ms。 Daley’s books, I know I’m in for a treat, and I’ve never been disappointed。 I highly recommend this series to readers who enjoy well-crafted cozy mysteries。After Abby Sullivan lost her husband and their infant son in a tragic accident, she moved to Holiday Bay, Maine, opened the Inn at Holiday Bay, made a new life for herself, and found a home and a family。 Georgia Carter, who has also overcome obstacles in her life, is the inn’s talented cook/baker and manager, and she and her Newfoundland dog, Ramos, live with Abby, Rufus, a Maine Coon, and Molly, a terrier mix, in a cottage on the property。 Georgia’s cable cooking show, “Cooking with Georgia,” is doing well。 Jeremy Slater, who lives in the inn’s basement apartment with his young niece, Annabelle, is a valuable asset who helps with the inn’s day-to-day operations。The cast, crew, and director of “The Real Detectives,” a reality program being filmed in Holiday Bat by the producers of “Cooking with Georgia,” booked the entire inn, and Abby, Georgia, Jeremy, and their part-time employee, Nikki Peyton, have their hands full。 When Abby and Colt Wilder, her boyfriend and police chief, discover a body in a lighthouse currently closed for renovation, they identify a plethora of suspects with viable motives。 Meanwhile, Abby and Georgia work with Lacy and Lonnie to choose the materials and color schemes for the four cottages that will be added to the property in the spring。 。。。more

Just… Okay。 I like this series and I love the characters, but this one didn’t rock my world
Judy Tucker,
A reality show and murder comes to Holiday Bay。 The cast of characters are interesting。 The plots thickens when a murder occurs
